Sarah is a mother of two with a background of work connecting with people on a therapeutic-level. She helped women present themselves visually, stylistically and psychologically in the workplace and in their personal life, as a qualified stylist and life-coach.
Emily is a mother of three, and comes from a background of work empowering people physically as a qualified Personal Trainer and cycle coach, and before that, used her stylistic flair as a fashion designer.
They both enjoyed helping people find and express their best, authentic selves and be happy. This creation of Just Good Company felt like a natural extension of that.
Despite being different, Sarah and Emily shared a common goal and vision when it came to founding Just Good Company.
The seed was sown one Valentine’s evening when single girlfriends were gathered in the spirit of camaraderie and in defiance of enforced “couple-dom”.
Feeling bored, tired and disillusioned with on-line dating, Sarah and Emily saw there was a gap between being single and dating. When you are happy within yourself and contentedly single, there was a need for a comfortable, pressure-free way to meet people of the same or opposite sex just for an “outing of choice”.
Instead of scrolling endlessly through profiles as you have to do with on-line dating, you could scroll through fun outings, or create your own, and then choose a like-minded companion to fit. They appreciated that the need for companionship went beyond the dating scenario and could benefit anyone just looking for company. The idea for JUST GOOD COMPANY was born.
